The idea behind Live Your T1D

Diabetes takes enough.
Life deserves more.

OUR PURPOSE

Reduce the work of living with Type 1 diabetes. Make room for the things that matter beyond managing it.

A personal starting point

“I’m diabetic, and at times I’ve resented how much of my life the disease—and the work required to manage it—has demanded.”

The starting point for Live Your T1D is lived experience—and the belief that there are burdens we can begin solving, alongside others we still need to understand.

These summaries reflect our working company, research, roadmap, and business-model documents. They describe a direction to test, not a promise that every offering exists today.

01 / PRODUCT & COMPANY

Start with your own history.

Help people living with Type 1 diabetes review their glucose and recognize familiar situations. My glucose and Similar Days are working prototypes; richer comparisons using food, insulin, activity, and daily context are next-stage work.

02 / RESEARCH & DATA

Leave room for the unknown.

Study recurring responses and the insulin tail while distinguishing measurements, personal logs, and inferred events. Missing entries remain unknown. Future studies would need clear consent, reproducible methods, and appropriate review.

03 / DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP

Earn each next step.

Test logging and corrections, build reliable private data collection, and evaluate contextual comparisons against simple baselines. The iPhone-style logging design is a separate prototype, not a released iOS app. Forecasting and an insulin pump require further evidence and dedicated development.

04 / BUSINESS MODEL

Prove what people value.

Potential revenue paths include personal subscriptions, appropriately consented research and analytical work, and later professional tools. Pricing, demand, and delivery costs still need testing. The Tools directory offers a practical starting point for exploring product choices and prices.
